David Gerber

As  Founder of Gerber Realty, David Gerber brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. With a 34 year track record in commercial real estate, David has assisted his clients with their real estate goals through his focus on land acquisition, office leasing, and industrial transactions. Previous to starting Gerber Realty in 1994, David focused on working with medical professionals in The Texas Medical Center at Gretzer, Tow & Associates. Before embarking on his career in Commercial Real Estate, David was CEO and President of Gerber Restaurant Supply for 21 years, which was based in Houston and started by his own grandfather back in 1933.

David received his Bachelor’s degree at Cornell University in Ithaca and then served in the U.S. Army as First Lieutenant from 1964 to 1966 in the Quartermaster Corps in Heidelberg, Germany. His time spent in the US Army along with his leadership skills as President of the family business has been the key in how Gerber Realty has differentiated itself from other companies. David and his team provide the highest level of personal service to their clients who are looking to lease, purchase, sell or rent a property. David is involved at every stage with each of his clients, and he coordinates the process with the principals and their attorneys to ensure a smooth transaction. Gerber Realty has grown steadily over the years based on referrals from satisfied clients.
